HeartSupport a publié un documentaire de 15 minutes à propos du retour de As I Lay Dying après que leur chanteur, Tim Lambesis, ait passé deux ans en prison pour avoir solliciter le meurtre de sa femme.
Le fondateur de HeartSupport est Jake Luhrs, qui est le chanteur de August Burns Red. Dans une publication sur son web, Luhrs mentionne que les romans et les films, les gens aiment avoir une histoire de rédemption. On aime les histoires où le héros échoue, afin qu'il devienne plus fort. Dans la vie réelle, toutefois, on trouve concept difficile. Dans notre ère numérique, on peut accuser et porter des jugements, mais tout le monde veut être aimé et demande qu'on peut croire qu'ils peuvent changer.
